9. Anonymous Messaging, Security Processing, and Sender Hints

Sending an anonymous message does not mean Mystery Message processes no technical information. To operate the service, prevent abuse, and meet safety obligations, we may process IP and network information server-side and derive an approximate location from that information.

If you are an eligible PRO MAX recipient, certain sender properties may be shown to you as Sender Hints. Those hints are estimates based on network data. They do not identify a sender with certainty, do not reveal an exact house or street location, and do not include a raw IP address.

Mystery Message may retain security information associated with messages for abuse prevention and lawful safety requirements. Sender Hints are a premium estimate feature, not a guarantee of identity.
